Nestled among old growth Redwoods, AutoCamp Russian River offers a spectacular respite near banks of the Russian River in Guerneville, California. The boutique “glamping” accommodations of shiny silver Airstreams or canvas tents provide Bay Area city dwellers with an easy getaway, complete with full immersion into nature. APDW collaborated with Mesa Lane Partners and Dan Weber Architecture to create an ecologically sensitive landscape for AutoCamp’s newest Bay Area location.We were also excited to assist in the photoshoot for Sunset Magazine’s July 2016″Camping in Style” issue. They are not needed for these luxurious canvas tents.The surrounding natural beauty of Redwood groves were preserved, protected, and enhanced. The native meadow is a place to picnic or hang out at the community campfire.APDW collaborated with the client, architect and contractor to create a planting design that would complement the native woodland. The heart of AutoCamp, the community Club House, serves as the hub and guest services.
