PROJECTMarin Farmers’ Market & Center for Food and Agriculture

The Agriculture Institute of Marin’s (AIM) is seeking to build a permanent home for their Marin Farmers Market located at the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Marin Civic Center Campus as well as in creating a Center for Food and Agriculture to address the challenge of protecting farming, ranching and food production as a way of life. AIM is leading with a renewed mission for a world-class farmers market and educational center and a future-focused vision to uplift local and regional food systems as a means for equity, sustainability, and healing of communities, economies, and environment. The market is one of California’s largest farmers market with a fresh and diverse variety of local vegetables, fruits, seafood, meats and artisan homemade goods. The permanent home for the Center for Food and Agriculture (CFA) and the first zero waste Farmers Market will make healthy, locally and regionally grown food more accessible to people of all ages, abilities and economic capacities and educate eaters and farmers about sustainable practices in farming and food production.
