Bay Street One, located at the foot of the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge, is part of a one million square foot urban village including retail, residential, hotel and entertainment. The residential design for the 337 multilevel units blends its bay side location with its industrial heritage to encourage neighborhood living. Elements of the seashore such as recycled beach glass are playfully incorporated into the outdoor design providing a unique living environment that is both contextual and delightful. The units are centered on a series of garden courtyards creating an oasis from the retail streets below yet linking them to their urban village district.
