The Nut Tree Village encompasses 30 acres of lifestyle and attraction retailers that include: restaurants, cafes and high end specialty shops. The architect involved in the project was MCG Architecture. With over 400,000 square feet of retail, the Village is an ideal shopping destination with its shade covered streets, pedestrian friendly sidewalks, site amenities and vineyard setting that take cues from the original historic Nut Tree Ranch. The 2 story mixed use district includes a 10,000 square foot Marketplace with family style tenants such as Jelly Belly and Fenton’s Creamery. Centered between the Bocce Park, the heart of the lifestyle center, and the Nut Tree Family Park, the Marketplace offers goods and foods reminiscent of the Nut Tree Restaurant – the famous road stop between the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe in its day.
