Getting Dirty with Kornegay & Landscape Forms
Earlier this week APDW’s very own Erika Mayer traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona to learn about the top-secret recipe for those beautiful Kornegay pots. You won’t believe what’s in the mix!
As part of the 2018 Landscape Forms Design Advisory board, Erika, along with Paul Kissinger of EDSA and Todd Kohli of JJR Smith Group, had the opportunity to look behind the curtain at future product lines coming out and give their valuable feedback from a designer’s perspective. In addition to seeing some of these new prototypes, they were invited to visit both the Landscape Forms and Kornegay factories to learn more about how these hand-crafted products are made. They even got to cast their very own “one-of-a-kind” mini-concrete Kornegay pot!
Kornegay is now under the Landscape Forms umbrella and continues to create their unique, handmade pots, one at a time- the way they have been doing the last 20 years.
