Design matters. Nature matters. Humanity matters.

April Philips Design Works, Inc (APDW) is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Medford, Oregon in collaboration with Terrain Landscape Architecture. With staff residing in both Northern California & Oregon, APDW is spreading our roots to serve all of our valued clients on the West Coast and beyond.

APDW’s first office outside of California is located at 33 N. Central Avenue, Suite 210, Medford, OR 97501 in the beautiful Rogue Valley. Over the past year we have grown in new and unpredictable ways. Like many firms, as we transitioned to a remote working model in response to the pandemic, we realized it was time to rethink our office model of the past. This past year we have all recognized that less time commuting has made more time to devote to what interests us in our professional and personal lives.

Thus, we began to explore new ways to fuel our culture for a creative office environment while still allowing the flexibility we found refreshing while working remotely. An opportunity blossomed this year through a decade’s long relationship between April Philips and Piper von Chamier, a former APDW staffer and now a partner at Terrain Landscape Architecture, to explore creative endeavors that aligned with our firm’s mission to create transformative designs that fuel vital places, build strong communities and designing in sync with nature to shape a more resilient world. Design matters. Nature matters. Humanity matters.

By uniting our two firms not only are we able to cultivate an inspirational environment and creative culture for our staff to collaborate from to provide our unique blend of services, we are now able to stretch our reach across the Pacific Northwest to build more relationships with you, our clients, colleagues, and friends. We look forward to serving you in both locations.
