Senior Landscape Architect (9-15 yrs)

We are growing our team and seeking a talented Leadership Track Landscape Architect and highly motivated Design Thinker with a passion to do design that matters. Our studio mission is to create design that makes an impact in shaping a more climate resilient, equitable and socially just world.

The right Senior Landscape Architect candidate:  Has proven experience on a number of multi-discipline design production packages with suitable firm leadership skills. Must have project management experience for all phases of design for urban mixed use, high density residential podium, entertainment retail, waterfront and hospitality work.

Candidate must be very proficient in all types of software applications for landscape architecture including Microsoft office tools; Has solid interpersonal and communication skills; Can work independently and collaboratively. Possesses strong leadership abilities; Has a firm grasp of the design and construction process; Is LEED or SITES AP and has a strong understanding of ecosystem services and landscape performance metrics.

In addition to the above, the Senior level candidate must demonstrate proven project budgeting and management success on complex multi-discipline urban projects, be effective in supervising staff, oversee production and quality control, and possess solid business development skills. We are seeking a senior associate level candidate with principal track mind set.

Education:

  • Candidate must be a Licensed Landscape Architect in California or in pursuit of California reciprocity.
  • A BLA or BSLA is required but an MLA is preferred.
