ELAN Mountain View is a high density mixed-use development near the heart of downtown Mountain View, CA.  The architect for the project was Seidel Architects. APDW’s landscape design envisions a public plaza at the corner of Castro St and El Camino Real that serves the public, the adjacent neighborhood, and the tenants. The public plaza extends through and around both buildings offering café and seating space, passive gathering areas, strolling, climate responsive plantings and tree canopy. The plaza opens into a pedestrian oriented streetscape that follows the City’s El Camino and downtown guidelines.  The private tenant zones have several courtyard spaces with amenities including an outdoor kitchen, dining bosque and community garden in a water conscious garden setting.
